happened to look through my old blog posts and old photos. suddenly got some 怀念 kind of feeling. its like, 转眼间，五年已经过去了，回忆起那些年... all the fun and everything. kind of missing it already :( well. just got to let go of some stuff I guess. can't be possibly living in the past every single time. but nevertheless these memories are quite fun to remember about.

come to think of it. its going to be my last year of school. really cant imagine what's going to happen. things just come and go so quickly. kind of looking forward to it also. yeah.

anyway, quite a lot of things to handle also. arp and orientation. and a whole bunch of APs to take when school reopens. also might need to study for SAT if I really want to go for a scholarship. really hoping to get into a UK uni next time :D

kind of left this abandoned because hostel LAN blocks blogger.
last week of November, 1 more month of holidays to go.
Well, these few weeks have been really eventful, shall go all the way back till the last week of school. PEAs and stuff, but convocation rehearsal allowed me to skip almost everything :D Penang guys came on thursday evening, and I got back my transcript on Friday. Had to check out of hostel, which was one annoying thing to do. Did okay for this semester, nevertheless i'm still aiming for my 4.5cap so that i can graduate with a high distinction.

well. on that thursday evening, i went to the airport to pick up the penang guys. nevertheless they made us wait 1 and a half hours before they showed up >=(
brought them around frm friday all the way to tuesday when they flew off. went to marina area, orchard, bugis, westcoast for bowling and punggol where they stayed. really awesome guys to make friends with: bryan, weiho, tze hsien, weisern, guangyuan and zizhen haha you guys were awesome:D looking forward to see you guys in the future! when i visit penang in the near future :D miss you guys.

oh. not to forget, on sunday had dinner with ms lee, as she's leaving us for SST =(
cca mates.. teacher and seniors who are leaving us next year. aiming to have more enthusiasm for my cca next year. kind of regretted keeping silent much throughout this year's cca sessions, next year, last year. shall enjoy every single bit of it!

Convocation 2011. again i helped out as an usher. well this time the guest of honor was the minister of education. really big deal and he had bodyguards :O
well, there goes another batch of students, which are my seniors
coming to think of it, im graduating next year, don't know whether im looking forward to it or not, but since its already my last year in school, im super determined to make it the best it can be. kind of regretted spending 50% of my hostel life hiding in my room, and not going out and enjoy. anyway, all the best to my seniors for army and university! you guys are a nice batch of people.

lastly, cherylit came back on sunday! ^^ but was with her friends all the way till wednesday. caught a movie together - 那些年, and went kbox. following day universal studios :D really enjoyed every single moment haha, wont be forgetting any of these =) will be missing you a lot! :( all the best in Australia and your university :P

nevertheless my awesome week ended on sunday. and monday came with arp. parents came back from their shopping trip @ hk, bought some stuff for me. haha. somehow, missing this trip was all well worth it =D
well. right now, i still have my ARP to complete :( and orientation to help out. there goes my holidays. but again its always better to be busy then be extremely free.

did better for chem honors then chem major module.
left chinese, and monday is chinese A levels. need to do well for that i guess. haha. will be expecting a B. nothing more, nothing less.

one crazy week just ended. been sleeping at 2am every single day, rushing out homework and what not. really tired though. plus tioman report, which i didnt sleep on thursday night, and tried rushing out on friday. friday, went for blood donation with 3 hours of sleep, followed by a macritchie trek-> totally burnt me out. really tired. took a 14 hour sleep today, felt much more refreshed. next week's gonna be quite a relaxed week.. monday, tuesday holiday, then wed sports day, thursday teachers day. no lessons, but loads of homework to do:(

kind of disappointed for piano exam, nothing much i can do though, but to do well for grd8 next year. will try very hard..

well, 12 more weeks till school ends. loads of tests when school reopens, loads of homework to hand in for next week. gotta chiong T_T

stepped into malaysia for the first time :)
so went there for 2nd CLISC - Chung Ling International Student Camp

i would say it was pretty fun, all the friends that ive made from different countries.
especially the chung ling people, bryan, jinghan, weiho, ronghui,yeeshuen, yunxuan, ruiyeh etcetc. cant really remember all of your names :( but you guys were awesome and it was really a pleasure making friends with you all.

nevertheless i would like to thank the nushies who came together with the trip, and special thanks to those who lent me your phone:) miss you loads(: hope you will come back soon, because i dont think i will ever go there though. but anyway 2 more week to tioman, then at least im back in malaysia again haha.

so yeah. in short, this camp was really enjoyable and memorable. was doubly sad when i left, but nevertheless i was really glad that i attended the camp.

kind of think that the success of this camp was mainly the reflections part.
come to think of it, we made the junior councilors reflect, but what about us?

Why do I want to join council in the first place?
What was my initial motivation to join?
What's my motivation to stay on?
Why did I choose to apply for council exco?

I think its really time to reflect on myself on what i have been doing, and what i want to do. its really no point wasting so much time doing stuff that i dont enjoy, or find it a hassle to do. nevertheless, whenever we start something, we would have to end it off well.

arp so far, 1.5 weeks already. has been pretty enjoyable, but yet mentally and physically tiring at times. but nevertheless, got to end off well with whatever i started. parents and 2 sisters off to taiwan for 1 week holiday, stuck here in singapore to complete up my arp. really hope can do something substantial, nevertheless the experience is always great. i dont think i will ever get such chances during school days. going to nus at 9, ending at 6 or 7. kind of simulates the working life. really looking forward to next time when i do start work.

been thinking about lots of stuff. commitment issue i think is pretty screwed up. looking at my phone calendar, by default, everyday is booked down for arp. then 3 days chalet, and 3 days council camp. which only leaves me with 4 days to work on my arp if i choose to attend both. then exco meetings, as well as selection meetings. really need to come out with a schedule..

been sleeping like at 1am everyday, then waking up at 7am for either morning meetings or arp. lacking rest:( but will always get it on sundays :D now i understand why adults look forward to weekends.

when school reopens, its probably gonna be crazy again. missing 1 week of school for penang, then crazy bunch of stuff to settle for council also, find myself slacking much, others spamming emails and stuff, i dont even seem to be like exco member and stuff. i rather be a normal member at this point. kind of lost the drive alr, but guess i gotta work even harder ><

can't wait for the end of term 3!~ =)

just dont understand why when i decided to study so hard for once, i still can't score as well as expected. truly disappointed with myself. i really have no idea how i'm going to get my bio honors at this rate. its like, spending so many days working hard just for it, but it the end it never comes. really really disappointed for all my results this semester. especially biology and chinese.

now that arp is here, it seems to be a project that i'm rather interested in, so really hope can do it well.

this few days, seem to be bothered with a lot of stuff. totally confused and dunno what to do. hate this feeling.

anyway selection camp in a few more days. now that academic stuff is over, got to focus on non academic stuff already.

its been a while since i blogged.
its been about 3 months since i first blogged for this year.

up till now, i still have no idea what im doing for the past last 3 months.
i've seem to lost most of my excitement already.
years ago, when i was about to go overseas, there was this excitement in me.
but just a few weeks ago, before my korea trip, i wasnt ready for it at all, and i only bothered packing few hours before the departure. the excitement factor just wasn't there. it felt like another thing again. however as the days gone by in korea, it proved to be extremely wrong. i learnt much from the koreans from ksa, not only their culture, language but also the way they live their lives. I really enjoyed their hostel stay, and i really liked their school culture and framework, especially banning computers and making students sleep at 12am. In singapore, we have too many pampered kids parents who care too much for their kids. the students in korea stay at the domitories 24/7 throughout the school term. in singapore, we are asked to go back every weekend because our parents "miss us" and they often call up the school for seemingly minor issues. as for the singaporean kids, we keep on relying on our parents for so many things, its time to grow up and get independent. it really pisses me off everytime i see students complain over minor matters, such as mosquito bites, or lousy food, or bed being too hard, room too hot, all of these stupid matters. people even choose to go out for meals, just because they keep complaining that hostel food sucks, hello, you are paying for hostel so just bear with it. why waste your parent's hard earned money on stuff that you dont need? stop complaining already, especially those whiners, just accept what you have, stop making so much noise over such matters. i really don't know why, but i think im being too critical about everything, especially this year. i used to not care about anything around me, but now, when i look around, i get extremely pissed and wish to do something. comparing us to the koreans, in school, they do not argue with the teacher for deadlines, and when quizzes and tests come, they just take it, they dont ask for extensions and push backs. how about us in nus high? students constantly ask the teacher to end class early, stop giving homework, have less quizzes and tests, push back deadlines and so many other stupid stuff. my question would then be, what the hell are you doing in this school? if you cannot cope with the amount of workload than just leave. stop arguing with the teachers, they also have a job to do. it seems to me that the academic standard of our school is decreasing a lot, and this has to do with a lot of our whiney students, complaining about everything. and for all of these stupid things i have observed in my 4+years in nus high, i admit that i have done them before, but from now on, never i will do such things. the korean students in ksa are really a disciplined bunch of people, and i really respect the students there. the students study, the moment they have free time, but our school students would just stay back to play soccer for like 3 hours, complete waste of time, if it was cca i would understand. even in hostel, people are just wasting their time away doing nothing productive, when time can actually be spent studying. the students in ksa dont have the time, and they really treasure the amount of free time they have, but for us, we have so much free time that we can go out of school and waste unnecessary money for anything under the sun. i would really say that our school needs a lot of improvement, especially the students. i really dont know if its the culture here or not that is causing all of these, but from what i have observed over at korea, i'm extremely determined to change myself as an individual.

as of now, im starting to regret whatever i have done so far, and i have been constantly asking myself if all of my past decisions were right or not. thoughts of leaving council has always been floating in my mind, and i really have no idea what to do with it. thoughts of changing school was already present during the end of year 2, and its back again. however, the step has already been taken and there's no path of return. i just hate it when there's so many thoughts floating through my head, and i keep thinking so much that i just ignore all of them, and the cycle keeps repeating because there's just so much happening around. i believe i was letting out quite a bit of fustration above...

anyway, i really enjoyed the 1 week march holiday spent in KSA, busan, korea.
it was one of the most enlightening and enjoyable trip i have ever had in my 16 years of life. if any of you korean students happen to see this, i really want to say thanks for hosting me, especially yeosan my buddy and the rest of you guys there.
i'm really glad that i went to ksa for exchange and not other schools, because you guys have really shown me a lot and i have really learnt much from just the 1 week i was there:)

My Orientation Journey

It all started off on the 15th of October, 6.30pm @ E2-07.I entered this classroom, where everyone looked really sleepy and tired.During that meeting, it was total chaos, and I really got disinterested. Like totally.Had a few days of complaining, and being really pissed about it.The exams came and well, I forgot about everything.

Nevertheless, little did I know that 24 days later, I would become the overall IC for orientation, together with Shahid Hussain Nowshad and Charles Wong.

18th November 2010, 2.30pm. 1st Meeting for all SLs involved in orientation. I was really amazed at the numbers which turned up, it was close to 80. Well, during that time, I wasn't really sure about what I was about to do, or what I was about to expect. But I believed that by giving my 300%, things should be able to work out right.

Well, so we split everyone up into the different committees, headed by the SC'11 EXCO and the House EXCO.

And so the planning started...

27th-29th December 2010. Pre-Orientation Camp

This was when all the Student Leaders(SLs) came together as one for the camp, in preparation for orientation.

Councilors and house leaders were no different, each and everyone of us similar. We had a similar goal in mind, which was to carry out the best orientation no matter what. Thanks to Raghav and the alumni, all the SLs got up their drive, and we were on full speed ahead for the upcoming orientation. No doubts, at that point of time, all the SLs were spending their days in school working on orientation, sacrificing much of they rest time during the holidays.

3rd January 2011. We came together as one SL board in preparation for orientation. Everyone was hyped up, and was both mentally and physically prepared for it. Did some last minute packing and preparations, and soon after, we were all set to go.

4th-6th January 2011. Arise. Sync, Soar, Scale. :D I guess both the students and the SLs can say that we have achieved this goal. Especially during the campfire night, during the awesome mass dance where the whole school was singing and dancing along. It was really heartwarming to see such a scene, one that has never happened before in my 4 years of Life in NUS High. I believe that most of the students enjoyed all the activities, and really had fun. After all, what's orientation about without having fun? :D Watching the entire school so hyped up and cheering all the way without stopping. It was just simply awesome. Not to mention, that we have never gotten so hyped up and enthusiastic about such events before, and judging by this at the start of the year, I believe that all the students would really keep this excitement in them, and carry it on throughout the year. Well, it goes on and on and on! (:

Anyway, all of these could have not been possible without the active participation of the entire school, and the help of the teachers and as well as the student leaders.

To Janice & Team: I really think that you guys are awesome, being able to cope with all the last minute changes, especially on the water games part. You guys really did well for this Amazing Race. I believe that all the year 1s really did enjoy themselves throughout the race. Thanks so much for putting in so much effort to carry out this so smoothly and cautiously. I hope that you guys really did have fun!

To Nicky & Team: Thanks so much for coming out with the amazing race for the year 3s. Despite the many problems with the locations and the wet games, you guys still made this really awesome and fun for the year 3s. I believe that it would be memorable for all of them.

To Kangraye, Deborah, Ji-Hyun and Team: I think that you guys are really awesome. Despite so many problems that you have faced, you guys still managed to come out with an awesome program to entertain the year 2s and year 4s. Although it was pretty messy from what I heard, I believe that the students really appreciated whatever you have planned for them, and it was still pretty much a success. Keep up the good work! :D

To Meifang, Weihan and Team: I think the house games were really awesome! It seemed to be a really hard activity to coordinate, but in the end it was actually pretty smooth. Thanks so much for coming out with these activities:D Special thanks to Pinyee, Shuhui and Shiyi. The three of you were the youngest in this comm, but nevertheless, you guys proved to me that age makes no difference. Although your ICs were away, you guys took the initiative to finish up everything else. I was really amazed and I'm proud of you guys (:

To Andrew, Christine and the rest of the Mass Dance Comm: You guys were fantastic, coming out with such an awesome mass dance that even until now, I'm still so hyped up by it. I believe that all of your efforts were worth it, all the rehearsals and dance practices during the holidays and especially the y6s who took time out from their ARP. Also, thanks for taking charge of the SL skit, I'm really sorry for throwing it to you guys to handle. But nevertheless you guys did a great job! Mass Dance <3

To Chris, Rachel, Teckchye and Team: I believe that you guys really worked hard for the campfire. From building Popobawa out from scratch, to coordinating all the performances during the campfire. It was all well worth it. I'm sure everyone really enjoyed the campfire although it was indoor. You guys were really awesome, having to suddenly come out with a change of plan, and handled it so smoothly. And although we spent so much time cleaning up the grandstand/track, you guys still managed to work out something to make orientation end off with a bang. Good job guys! :D

To Amanda, Zikai and Team: I'm sure that the unity activity was one of the toughest thing to plan. The idea got rejected so many times, and you guys had to keep coming out with new ideas. But all in all, judging by the final product, those trolleys seemed to be much more useful and presentable then the PET rockets which we suggested before. We can still use them for house carnivals and stuff! :D I'm sure that the students really enjoyed them! (:

To Yu Han and Team: Thanks for coordinating the entire LIFE @ NUS High skit. Although it was only 30mins long, but I'm sure that the year 1s and 3s really did enjoy it. I'm really sorry for forgetting some of my lines. :(

To Amanda, Cheryl and Choir members: Thanks for coordinating the last minute teaching of the school song, which I happened to ask you guys like 2 days before. I believe that it went pretty well.

To Candice, Shi Ni and the other OGLs: I thank you guys for carrying out your role so well. Thanks for taking care of your classes during these few days. I'm sure that you have definitely made an impact in the lives of the new kids. Special thanks to Shao Hao, Zikri and Pan Chuen for being the replacement OGLs during the amazing race. I hope that you guys had fun! :D

To Charles and Shahid: Thanks for being there all the time to coordinate the entire orientation. I really enjoyed working with you guys, especially late at night *wink wink* :D I'm sure this orientation would be something that we will never forget.

To Daniel and Andrew: You guys are the most awesome emcees! I'm sure that all the kids love you, and maybe even the teachers :P Without you, the entire orientation would not have been so smooth. Thanks for leading all the cheers until you lost your voices!

To Mrs Chong and the other staff: Thanks so much for staying up so late every night just to help and guide us in planning this orientation. Without your advices, I don't think that we would be able to make this orientation a success. Thanks for coordinating everything, especially with the AV crew, estate dept and SM, and especially for all the last minute changes. All of these would not have been possible without the help of you teachers. :D

To Chris, Rachel, Meifang, Weihan and all the other house leaders: I really have to thank you guys especially for day 2 and 3 for coordinating all the house related stuff, especially for the unity activity and the house performances. Also, I think you guys really did a great job in making your houses so hyped up and excited about orientation. I was so amazed during the half hour after the house games, where everyone was in their houses cheering so loudly. And especially campfire night, during the cheers session. You guys just totally rocked the hall out. Good job in raising your house spirits up all the way. I believe that we can maintain these throughout the year, and continue this awesome job all the way! :D

To Sabrina Tang: Thanks so much for volunteering to help out for all the props making. Even though you didn't have a role to play, I really want to say thanks to you for helping out with all the props. The cave, artifacts, spell books, costumes and many more. Also, I must say thanks for the awesome Orientation logo design, it was really awesome! Thanks so much for sacrificing so much of your holiday to help us out :D

I would like to say thanks to all the other SLs whom have helped out in one way or another. Whether you were a cameraman, station master or a mascot, you have helped to contribute to this year's orientation. Thanks for carrying out all of your roles to the best of your ability and taking the initiative to help out. We could not have done this without you guys.

Lastly I would like to say thanks to everyone whom have participated in this orientation. Without your enthusiasm and excitement, whatever that we have planned would not have succeeded at all. This orientation was planned for you guys and I really hope that all of you really enjoyed it. I hope that this would be an unforgettable memory in your life at NUS High. LETS ALL ROCK ON AS A SCHOOL THROUGHOUT THIS YEAR!

yup, been a while since i posted.
anyway today is the last day of lessons together as a class. m10402.
seriously. i think most people would feel sad as next year we are going to split class again.
but instead of feeling sad, i'm actually pretty excited and looking forward to the splitting of classes.

unlike in year2, back then i was rather sad when i knew that it was going to be our last year together as m08205. it was the class "spirit", all the bonds that we have made and awesome friendship in that class that made me have the feeling of not wanting to leave.

having being in my new class for almost 2 years, i haven't really sensed the class spirit, and although yes i have made some friends, these friendship that i have made isnt as close as those from year 1 and year 2. i may seem to be rather quiet and reserved at times, but yeah, it has really left me thinking about what i actually can do. but most of the time, i just give up and think that there is really no hope for the class, why even bother trying. in a class where 1/2 the people are foreigners, its really hard to organise anything, let alone even a simple class outing. communication problems, lazy people... --> makes me feel unenthu about it.

over the past 2 years in 302/402, the only possible successful class outing we ever had was the bbq at wenhui's place. at least 1/2 the class turned up. quite a good sign. but as usual, the remaining people are either too obsessed with mugging, or are just lazy. so, what exactly is this class anyway? its not even considered as a class, its only a venue where people come just to have lessons, and leave after that. although yes, new friends were made, but no doubt, the impact left on me is not as great as the one i experienced in year 2.

this has led me thinking, am i trying? or am i giving up too easily? for this entire 2 years, what have i exactly done? i would say that i haven't really done much at all. from stepping out to talk to others, and trying to make friends. although sometimes i do try, but something keeps holding me back. in this year sem2, we had a new mentor. really nice guy. i can tell that he is trying very hard, but to no avail. people seem to care too much about themselves and constantly ignore the rest. well its probably their nature, and i cannot do much about it. although i feel that i haven't really done my best, but there is definitely much more that i am able to do, and i know i haven't done so, in my academics, social life, and even in non-academic stuff. well, i keep hearing this from ms sim, "have you done your best?". i know that i havent really done my best, but its really this constant mental block that prevents me from going all out, when i know that i can do so. my mind goes blank very often, resulting me in not being able to think at all.

i would say that this year has been a rather eventful one. come to think of it, at the start of the year, i was pretty slack, as usual. but as june approached, this sudden mindset came to me - we are going to be year5s in less than 6 months. now its 3 months. running for council exco, and now in the council exco. in fact, i'm wasnt really sure if i am fit to be an exco member. anyway after being a facilitator in the selection camp. i realised that i have much more responsibilities that i have in hand now, there's no way i can start slacking anymore. there are going to be a bunch of new councillors, whom i really think are awesome people, especially the year2s. i know that i am pretty held back and rather shy, i dont really dare to talk to them face to face. but yeah, gotta get rid of this, and start interacting more with them. after all, we are seniors already, and we should start setting a good example for them. the previous exco has really set a good example for us, and its now our turn to uplift that. i guess i would need to have more courage, to get things started and going. no doubt, i would definitely want my class to be like what council is. in this 2 years, especially this year, i seem to have spent more time with the councilors as compared to my class. but yeah, just got to accept it that not everything is perfect, and i got to accept whatever that comes my way.

the me in year 1 and 2, is completely different from the me in year 3 and year 4. from having a bunch of friends and a really bonded class, to a completely different environment. i really wondered how i managed to survive 2 years. come to think of it, how many close friends have i made in this school? and how many friends are there, whom i can really share my problems with? having being in this school for 4 years already, i think i have really failed as a student. i seem to see everyone having a close friend or at least a bunch of people that they can hangout with, but most of the time, i tend to be alone. it might be the differences that we share, the different interest, and the different characters. most of my friends in the other schools might already be graduating from their secondary school, and they friends they made in 4 years, are really treasured greatly by them. although yes i do have friends, but i haven really made any close friends/really good friends. and, yes, i really do appreciate those who always try to talk to me, and help to brighten up my day.

anyway, the exams are coming in 2 days. time to really work hard, and do my best. good luck everyone and all the best :D

well. recently i felt that i haven't much been myself. i had never been so quiet and reserved throughout these few days. probably because of me applying for council exco. I've been pretty much self-reflective, asking myself what have i done, and how i can do better.i don't know why, this had never happened to myself before.

my stress level is really reaching all time high, had really bad headaches for 3 days already.getting back all my tests, and having tests in the new school term. its really killing me. especially this week is the start of council exco selection. i really hope that whatever i do would really work out well, i really hope to be able to do something back for council.

sc'10 has really done much for me, teaching me many things, and changing me from someone who does not really care much, to someone that really wants to take the initiative to do stuff. i really felt that i have changed a lot, and matured a lot ever since. I've tried my best, and gave my all. Although i could really do much better, but that was in the past. always look forward to a better tomorrow=D

well.. come to think of it. 7 months have passed in year 4.
which is pretty fast.
time flies, i guess this phrase does have a meaning after all.

in terms of academics, pretty much coping well.

cca still okay, however still lack the motivation, i don't know, but i feel like doing something for it.
hoping that the new coach would create the seriousness for every training session. as of now, we go for cca just to play badminton, and nothing else, occasionally not bothering about what the coach says. we have to start getting serious, in my opinion, for the cca to achieve greater results. although our performance at this year's b div competition was not bad, but actually much more could be done, in terms on training. in a math and science school, emphasis is not placed much on cca, however i feel that we should do the best we can, at the very least, be serious during every training session, or else it would be a waste of money everytime the coach comes. no wonder every single coach does not stay long after coaching nus high. seriously hoping that the new coach could make a difference in our cca.

as for council, it has been quite an enjoyable time these few months. when i was in year 2, i was really excited being in the psl board, it was extremely fun then. soon came the merger with council, and the feeling didn't quite exist then. in my opinion, last year's council was pretty crappy, besides from being really large(100+ people), there were many problems, both internally and externally. i actually felt embarrassed when people ask if i was in council or not, due to the fact that there was no sense of belonging in council then. i didn't want to wear the
collar pin too, i just could not feel that being in council was something to be proud of. however all of these went away in 2010. the council this year was and felt totally different from what i experienced the previous year. especially with the camp right at the start of the year. it really made me feel proud of the council for once, and proud of being in council. i would have to say that our current year 4 batch councilors are a pretty awesome bunch of people, and really bonded(some exceptions though). come to think of it, from being juniors, in 5 more months time, we would become the seniors already, and we would have to start heading council. today during the gm we were asked to express our interest for exco positions for the next year council. although im still hesitating at this moment whether if i should apply or not, but i feel that whoever becomes president is not important(although there must always be a leader in a group). What's most important is being able to work smoothly in a group, which i think our year 4 councilors have achieved it, but as for the year 3s, and the future new councilors, there would always be more opportunities.

this has been on my mind for a rather long time. really glad i could finally share my thoughts, as too much thoughts would overload my brain.

4 more months to go till the december holidays.
time to make good use of it.

school has reopened.
and the first three days were spent on orientation.

well, as for this year's orientation, it was totally different from the past years.
it became like 90% house based and 10% SC.
anyway.. i didnt quite like the programme, felt totally boring to me.
and to make it worse, my only role in orientation was a station master in the year 3 amazing race. okay. those were my thoughts before orientation.
but seriously, before orientation and while looking at the orientation schedule which was on espace, my thoughts of it were like, "its gonna be damn boring, see how many house meetings there are going to be..", "wtf why everyday end so late?", "why are they involving all levels? this is going to be such a waste of time..."
so anyway, those were what i felt before orientation started.

orientation officially started on 4th January.
on that day, there was not much activities.
some briefing in the hall, and then meeting with the level heads and the mentor.
lunch at the concourse and then house activities till the end of the day.
well, that day we did not really do much, and i slacked rather much throughout the day.

the next day was basically the main part of what council did. amazing race, year 1 and year 3. well i was station master for one of the games for year 3 amazing race. was rather enjoyable, seeing the year 3s getting wet and having fun amongst themselves. i think the objectives were more or less achieved.

last day of orientation was rather house based.
house activities throughout the day. was rather bored in the morning so i actually went to join andrew's class. m10105!
they were rather funny people. and i felt that they were a rather bonded class.
well anyway after lunch had to join back the houses.
started decorating the costume thingy.
was rather sleepy at the start, but felt that i had to help out a bit, basically helped out in the end.
i think it was rather successful in the end, and around 6pm we had the campfire.
was rather great. all the cheering and what not.
felt that it really boosted the school spirit.
and most of the new students actually felt much more for their houses this time.
had quite some fun during the campfire.
ended around 930pm.

well. anyway after these 3 days. i think orientation really helped boost the school spirit a bit.
even though we did not really help much, but i felt that it was really a success.

lessons are going to start, and got quite a few new teachers.
timetable is also rather packed.
monday and fridays cca.
tuesday and thursday electives.
wednesday da vinci,
almost everyday end at 6pm.

really dont know how to cope with it.
but well, its year 4 alr. got to start working hard already. :D

the past year had been a rather reflective year for me.
after being with 105/205 for 2 years, being reshuffled into a class with almost no one im rather close with felt rather weird. and even after the orientation, i still felt that my class was rather weird, and this somewhat affected my everyday life.
everyday to school felt like stepping into a room, and just simply listening to a teacher talk, and after every lesson, everyone just disappears. a class didn't feel like one at all. this went all the way till around march/april.
just felt that we had to open up and start talking to the newcomers instead of sticking to our own groups always.
well, didnt regret that, made much more new friends, mario, tung, luyang, fred, eugene, anh. fun and funny people:D

well, all got rather okay and the june holidays were rather great.
my mood was exceptionally high when i came back from the hols.
but immediately after the first week, it dropped all the way to the bottom.
just felt totally sian and i had totally no mood to do anything.
never felt like that at all before, my mind was like totally blank, and i continued living life like that for the next few weeks.

had to do something anyway, i decided to forget all about it, did not really succeed, but at least felt better. everything was rather crappy then, from school work to personal life. the moment i got home, just felt like playing games to forget about everything and then go to sleep after that. wasted a lot of precious time.

exams and everything went by rather smoothly, didn't really study much, but was rather glad that my results weren't that bad. mood went up after the exams, had quite a lot of fun. then came obs, even better. and all the fun during the 2 weeks of december =))
and lastly council camp to end off the year with. well, if i couldn't start the year 2009 with a good mood, must as well end it off well.

so far, i felt that 2009 was a rather challenging year, with a lot of difficulties to overcome, although not all were successfully done, life still had to go by.

1. > 4.5 CAP.

2. gold for NAPFA. considering i got silver for this year, got to work much more harder for next year :D

3. practise piano more regularly, and distinction for grd 6 practical.

Not so important:

1. watch a NC 16 Movie legally :D

2. use my laptop more wisely, instead of facebooking and playing games.

3. try composing songs, melody and writing lyrics.

4. get more physically fit. and improve in badminton. aim for 2nd round in interschool. our school is damn pathetic so well, 2nd round would be a great achievement for us.

5. not sleeping in class ^_^

lol okay... so for the last week.
i can safely say that i conducted an experiment on myself.
so.. i was testing how long i can sleep, if no one wakes me up.

well, it all started on saturday, when i came back from my relative's house.
watched like 2 episodes of 百萬大歌星 which lasted a total of around 3 hours.
and by then, it was already 4am.
so i went to sleep, and surprisingly no one woke me up.
i automatically woke up the next day, discovering that the time was around 345pm on sunday.
so my prediction was around 12hours.
this continued for about 4 days, until wednesday, i had to wake up early, as i went to play badminton with my cousin. we went to sengkang sports hall, its damn bloody far from the mrt, and we walked all the way there, didnt know that there was a LRT. lol
and there was a school training there, if im not wrong holy innocent high school.
and we went to play doubles with 2 of their people. fun la, but lost D:
so anyway, feeling hungry, we went looking for food.
and in the end we trained all the way back to bishan and went to eat thai express.
we ordered like 4 plates of rice, 1 green chicken curry, sambal kangkong and taupok.
eat until shiok la. in the end like only $28. for both lunch and dinner tgt for 2 persons.
so anyway went home, played com a bit, and amazingly fell asleep at around 8pm.

woke up today WITHOUT ANYONE WAKING ME UP at around 820am.
quite amazing. never before la. lolol.
so i concluded that i can sleep for around 12hours under normal conditions.
sleeping hours will extend if like after obs.

anyway... 我要去睡覺了。晚安:D

finally... after 11 weeks.. amazing race finally ended.
and.. meghan and cheyne won.
rather expected it though, seeing them win almost all the leagues.
however the final league was really a comeback for them.
they reached the casino in last place. but they finished the task correctly first time and they did not quarrel at all.
other teams kept quarrelling, seems to me that that was the reason why they did not manage to finish the counting chips task quickly.
but their win was really well deserved.

anyway.. its the holidays already.
and have nothing much to do...

taiwan shows just rock :D its like so much better than the singapore version. i bet singapore copy them one lor. and instead of random people participating, they get those celebrities to compete. really awesome.

okay yay. finally a post about obs=))

23rd November, Monday:

woke up rather early, didn't sleep much the previous night as i was packing my stuff like crazy, seriously, i underpacked. i didn't bring long sleeved shirts, all short sleeved and many shorts, and only 2 long pants, so in the end i had to re wear the long pants.

dad fetched me down to punggol jetty, reached there like at 720am, damn early.
slacked around at the reception center until like around 8am like that, and that was when the crowd started coming.

at around 830am, the school bus reached and the mass of people came.
so i was in watch 1, also known as da gama, and we comprise of....
huikang, jonseet, yuhan, spencer, sankar, weiren, ben siow, ethel, yueqi, shihui, huimin, ruthanne, izzati, janice, yujia and me. oh, and our instructor was vanessa, well she introed herself as chio bu. so that was what we called her.
yeah, so we took a group photo, and then we took the boat and set off for pulau ubin.

we arrived at camp 2, and we started playing some icebreakers. not that fun, but the objective was just to get to know each other. after that we went to our stores, did some packing and the collection of our rations. omg we were given like a whole lot of food luh. but they were supposed to last us for 4 days, we packed our food into the stores and then we went to do our 1st activity... the trust fall. i was appointed leader of that day. so i was the 1st to do the trust fall. we were supposed to stand from a platform, and fall back 1st into a sheet held up by the rest of the group members.

next was belaying.... it was not really fun though, as we were supposed to climb this about 2m high wall, and the belayer was just there to ensure your safety. however just through this activity, i realised that there would definetely be some height elements which we have to do in this camp, which was my fears at that moment.

vanessa taught us how to pitch a basha, which was basically a sheet fastened to sticks held up by the cotton twine, this was basically used to keep our stuff dry. we went back down to the stores after that to get our dinner. dinner was basically rice, with canned food such as ikan bilis, sardines and peanuts. had a rather great dinner, considering that we cooked it with mess tins and solid fuel:D

so after dinner we had a shower and went back up to pitch tents. it was rather late, and sometime around 1030pm, there was a stupid firedrill. so after that we just went to sleep in our pitched up tents. i was sleeping with huikang, ben and sankar.
well. that was for the first day.

24th november, Tuesday.

woke up, packed up tents, did some random morning pt, ate breakfast and did a bit of packing.
after that we got our life jackets and went towards the sea side to learn how to kayak. we were each given 2 man kayaks. so basically, we learnt how to do the basic paddling, capsizing, and rescuing. i was kayaking with yueqi, she is like totally awesome, she just paddle and i just slack =) anyway we just totally crapped around and were just playing. oh and we had to capsize 3 times in total just to let others "rescue" us. we just totally played around, oh and there was this big rock, and we went to try titanic, crashed our kayak into that rock. that rock contained like a whole bunch of crappy insects which is not a cockroach but looks like one, really weird insect. so after that we all kayaked a rather short distance towards camp 1. really fun:D

reached there around lunch time. pitched our tents, went for a shower, and had our lunch, which mainly comprised of bread. got changed into long pants, kind of expected some height element stuff at that point.well anyway we gathered as a group with another watch, hillary, or also known as dora. played some mini ice breakers, and did this zoom thingy, which was simply to arrange a book, where each person has only 1 page, and we cannot communicate or show each other our picture.

so after that we did the height elements. we had 2 stuff to do. one was something called a snake and ladders and another was the wobbly wall. basically a rock wall which is shaky. some of us were supposed to be climbers and belayers, interchangeable. well, when i was climbing the snake and ladders thingy, it was rather scary at first as i was afraid of heights, and also i remembered doing a height element thingy in primary school and not being able to complete it. but amazingly i completed it, and was rather happy. after that went to do the wobbly wall and completed it too :DD felt a sense of accomplishment after that.

basically after that, we went to have dinner, which was cooked for us =)) quite awesome, considering that we had crap for the previous day. went to pack our bags for the next day. After that we had a briefing for the next day, about the sea expedition. huikang, spencer, sophie and wei tieng were our leaders for the expedition. considering that 3 of them are from cp, we should have no problem for the expedition. went back to our tents to sleep after that.

25th November, Wednesday

woke up at like 530am, and did some morning pt. went for breakfast after that. went to get ready all our stuff for the sea expedition, and that was when the first major problem came. our bag which contained food was infested with ants. apparently i do not know what exactly happened to our bags that day, but it was probably left at that campsite. it contained like our pots which contained some can food. so anyway we went towards the jetty and went into our kayaks. however this time i was partnered with huikang, and were the sweeper at that time.

we set off from camp 1 at around 830am, and took the long route around the entire island to reach camp 3, which was basically a small empty land beside the kekek quarry. so anyway around 45 minutes into the expedition, i swapped places with sheena, and was now partnered with ruthanne. so basically, lack of food, lack of energy. i didnt really have much strength to kayak. and had to continuously stop for a rest. really sorry about that >< friends ="))">.< so anyway after that we went to collect our food and stuff to prepare for celebration dinner. got like carrots, onions, cabbage, long beans etc. cooked some rather joke food, yo mama fried rice xD. after eating we just washed up and got ready for sleep.

well anyway the best part is always the last part. we couldnt really sleep and we were rather bored. at around 11pm, me huikang and spencer went over to the girls tent, which had ethel, yueqi and huimin. we were just talking a whole bunch of crap. and without knowing it was like already 1am. we suddenly heard a loud laughter from the other watch, hillary. apparently there were a whole bunch of people talking there too, katrina, berton, sohjie, daniel, christine, sophie, nyx, sheena. well, the instructors came down to spot check. and boomz we got caught. damn suay.

we were made to write some statements, and had to use the 5 W and 1 H, wtf la. lolol. they kept emphasizing like after 9 months, what if the girls got pregnant, then these statements will be used to protect the girls modesty and the guys innocence. its like super joke la, we didn't really do anything wrong in the tent, other than talking. oh but there was this part where huikang took off his shirt, which actually may have made things worse. lol, but in the end, nothing much really happened, we were sent back to our tents at like 130am, which was damn surprising as we thought is was only like 12am at that time. well... went back to sleep in our OWN tents after that.

27th November, Friday

woke up, unpitched tents again, like for the 4th time already im mentioning this. played some games in the morning, and then went to clear up our stores. apparently, we were supposed to have lost like 2 bags, pots and some water bottles, but our instructor just rocks. we got back everything and did not lose anything at all. <33

after that we gathered as a watch to have like a debrief session for the previous 4 days. mentioned stuff like which was our favourite part of the camp, what have we learnt etc. oh and after that we were supposed to set some short term goals. and then go to the trust fall place, say out our goals and jump off from one of the ledges and hit the bell.

well, we packed up our stuff after that, and then waited for the boat to bring us back to punggol jetty. we waited like for about 1 hour for the boat to come, as there were like 6 other watches which went on the 1st boat. so anyway at around 130pm, we reached punggol jetty and went to the obs center to purchase stuff, and i bought a polo shirt which costed $18. didn't have enough money so had to borrow from yueqi. thanks ar=)

left there and took the bus all the way to hougang to have lunch with yueqi and spencer. its like heaven after experiencing a lousier heaven for 5 days xD although we ate at a normal kopitiam, but the food just tasted awesome. due to the fact that we survived on bread and biscuits for the previous days. well, after eating, took a train home and slacked after that.

so basically i felt that obs was really awesome. its like just within a short span of 5 days, i actually learnt many things, and even got to know many people much better. from those people whom i know just by name to people who i actually can talk to. some people like yuhan, janice, yujia, jonseet,huimin i believe i really got to know you all much better :D really through this obs experience, i felt that we should really step out and start to talk to people instead of just msning or smsing. really, i felt that i made a whole lot more friends and got to know more people, instead of just knowing their names.im someone that enjoys talking with friends, but i just do not dare to start conversations, for some funny reasons. really appreciate those who always get the conversation going. thank you guys for everything throughout these 5 days. really enjoyed it:D

exams are over. and tommrrow is like the last day of school.
so these few days, post exam activities, didn't really do anything.

monday had a leadership talk.

tuesday some religion tour to a temple at telok ayer, mosque at chinatown, st andrews cathedral at city hall and some indian temple at little india.
well after that went to watch my girlfriend is an agent with yuquan, christine and some others.

wednesday had some hari raya and deepavali celebrations.
we did some kolam design thingy and ketupat folding in class. quite fun though.

and so today was supposed to be CCA day.
but we didn't have cca.
so today is just day.
played badminton with yuanhan, sohjie and leon until like around 11am,
den went home after that, well at least had something to do to kill time in school.

well... obs is next week:D
monday to friday.
quite excited and looking forward to it.
grouped with rather nice people, shouldn't be that bad, i hope.

OMG YAY LAST DAY OF EXAMS HERE I COME~~~~

lols. the amazing race today was great. i really think this season.. teams were really lucky.
as for today's episode. probably the strongest team almost got eliminated, but due to some real luck, they managed to stay in the race.

well, one of the tasks was to slide down a water slide. emphasis is on WATER SLIDE.
well, its like 90ft high, (27.5m) at nearly a 90degree incline. so its like a vertical drop.
this particular team was really unlucky, one of them was firstly afraid of water, and also heights.
so total gg, it took them about 45mins to get down the slide, which she didn't in the end.

its like.. some really simple things which seemingly be easily done, but requires one to overcome his or her fears. it really takes a lot of courage, but well. for the sake of the team, just do it. which the girl didn't want to do. causing them to be eliminated. really pitied that team.

seriously. i have been watching the amazing race since like its 2nd season, chasing every single episode. and i think that its a really nice show to watch, with all the different travelling locations and places, and especially with someone close to you, it would really improve your relationship with the other person. makes me feel like traveling when i grow up.. well.. if i'm rich enough next time, i'll probably visit every location in the world the amazing race visited. just by looking at those teams, some comprising of dating couples, parents, married couples, good friends, going through like 1 month of traveling around the world, with each other, it would really be great.

bought 4 books which cost 70bucks. awesome way of spending money

lol yay hihi. its been 1 week since i posted:D

so anyway, after that teachers day, i fell sick.
got a fever. and didn go to school for the entire week.
so basically missed quite a lot of stuff.
physics test, and chem quiz.
stayed at home, was on mc, missed quite a lot of stuff.
basically while i was on mc, played dota, and practised piano.
that was the entire day was made of.

on sunday, went to tampines east cc.
got some badminton competition there.
in the end, gary won the singles, and gary and darrell won the doubles.
shiping also got 3rd. grats:D

well. then came the 1 week september holidays.
monday : back to school, took chem quiz and physics.
tuesday : badminton. lol counterstrike was retarded, did a whole lot of pushups, arm ache.
wednesday: math remedial. with LI DA.

thursday, which is today.
early morning went to school for badminton.
didnt really do much cause coach came, besides my shoe was spoilt and occassionally made my leg damn pain.
well, in the end it bled. zzz
then after that, i went to eat lunch with leon and julian, went long john silver.
julian is like another luke, treat people:D

so after that went to clementi station, to meet cheryl lit.
took the mrt from clementi all the way to pasir ris.
reached there around 2pm.
walked around the stupid downtown east.
totally. omg. its like everywhere cheryl goes, she will stop and look at food.
lol. had to drag her or i believe she is able to stand there for the entire time.
walked around, den in the end went back to the mrt station,
and took a train to orchard.
so basically we went to ION@Orchard. walked around the basements looking at random shops.
and as usual.
cheryl was looking at all the food that was available :X
so just went looking around at shops until around 5+.
since she had to go, i left too.
took a bus back home after that.

Happy Teachers Day!

anyway yesterday we had teachers day celebration in school.
the most surprising thing was, Johnny was the Mr Helpful award, which is absolutely a joke.
celebration ended at around 10am.

met a whole bunch of 205 people at the concourse.
angela, charlene, emman, yuquan, christine, nick, katrina, hurberg, junkiat, ryan, benjamin and berton... always randomly tagging along with our class. -.-

so anyway. we walked out to the bus stop outside school to meet cheryl lit :D
then we took 166 to harbourfront. vivocity.
we decided on watching where got ghost.
in the meanwhile we ate lunch, went to the arcade, and killed the remaining time playing truth or dare.
few stuff to note here:

Ryan is damn good at time crisis. and yuquan is just the opposite. well, he died at stage 1, level 2.
never play truth or dare with kat... her dares are just.. crazy.

so after that the movie.. it is actually 3 different ghost stories.
街上有鬼，樹林有鬼，家里有鬼.
the second one was rather scary.
and the third one made references to money not enough 2.
kinda of freaked out at some parts of the show.
i don't like scary movies D:
"watching dillon chew cuddled up in his seat is dam funny haha =)" - as quoted from yuquan.

lol anyway nevermind. nick and emman had to go back.
and so did hurberg, junkiat and ryan.
leaving behind kat, christine, angela, charlene, cheryl lit, me, yuquan and berton.
we decided to randomly walk around, and later, christine, angela and charlene left.
so in the end, we just walked around vivo chatting away until around 6.30pm den we left.

went home in the end, and didn't really do much.
apparently msned quite a bit last night with charlene.
talked a lot of stuff, and for some reason, i felt much more 輕鬆 after that chat. thanks:D
realised that keeping too many things in my head can seriously drive me crazy.

today..
woke up at around 3pm.
felt rather sick. no idea why.
den realised that i had a slight fever... 38.2 C
but i had to finish my java assignment 2.
so no choice, had to finish it.
anyway tommrrow is wednesday, which takes over monday's timetable.
so i hope it would be a great day tommrrow.

waahh. finally, all the tests are gone for this week.
its always like that. monday, wednesday, friday slack.
tuesday and thursday would then be like the worse days for me.
and from next term onwards, my tuesdays will end at 6pm.

math test was rather ok. should be able to get full marks, i hope. if there are no careless mistakes.
english was rather tough.
and cs was total fail. my 1st written test was 12/35.
and now my lab test would be like 5/30.
seriously screwed up for this module.

lol so its like end of my stressful week.
friday is normally like one of the slackiest day, with cca to end the day at 6pm.
next week..
teacher's day celebration on monday,
tuesday holiday,
wednesday takes monday's time table.
thursday takes friday timetable.
and friday is sports day which means no lessons.

monday planning to go out to watch movie. 205 also!
and friday got some bbq at narmadha's house. 205 again :D

Last night was awesome. went for bbq at my grandmother's place. loads of super awesome food. ate until extremely full, could not really sleep then. reached home at around 1130pm. but was extremely tired and went to sleep around 1230am.

amazingly had quite a lot of dreams while sleeping, and i can still remember one, which was totally stupid. all of them seem to be about this person. still dunno why i keep thinking about this particular person, even though i try not to think about it too much,

amazingly when i woke up, it was already 530pm. whole day wasted. chinese presentation tomorrow. got to chiong it by tonight.

lol, yup. yesterday was spent with my primary school friends, and it was national day.

people who were there.

guys: kjw, bingshen, hanwei, leroy, nathananel, keith, zhen hui and me.

girls: teochin, yingjie, xinying, winny, huimin, shumin and there was one girl who left early which i cannot remember who was it :O

so at first, we were at bishan junction 8,
meet at 11am.
and people came after that.
so we had to wait like around 30 mins for everyone to reach.
we went to swensens for lunch.
6 of us shared an earthquake.
den kjw, bingshen, keith, hanwei and me went upstairs to eat lunch.
the girls (including leroy and nathanael) stayed at swensens.

so after that went to arcade and stoned around.
saw yanghyun at popular.
den we decided to go to orchard coz yingjie was there.
and we mrt-ded to orchard.

walked around ION.
and later some left and went to shop.
and the remaining guys, went to dhoby ghaut to play LAN :D

found some stuff on facebook, that i felt its rather nice to do it..

1. Getting into NUSH, after graduating from APS.

seriously, i dont really know why i wanted to come to this school in the first place.
but anyway, whats done cannot be undone.
upon coming to NUSH, i realised that there are many different types of people.
right on the first day of orientation, i already wanted to change school, mainly because i realised that everyone was weird. and i cannot adapt that quick.
even up till now, my perception of the school haven't changed at all.
back in APS.
no lifers are uncommon.
nerds were rare.
and muggers were non-existent.
but now. i see that things have gone through a reverse.

anyway, back to the main point.
on how it has the most positive influence in my life.
coming to this school had really made me mature in my thinking.
and also, going to school had helped me in my social life, which was rather sucky in primary school, and maybe even until now.

2) Going to church.
this may even be ranked first.
but anyway. i ranked this second, coz i only go church once a week, wheras school is 5 times a week.
so... how has church helped me?
~~helping me kill my saturdays off. (jkjk)~~
learning many new things that are related to my social life, and relationship in the future.
eg.
-the messages on building a successful relationship,
-the tabernacle series, which really gave me a new revelation.
- the series on build to last
and many more....
it has really impacted me a lot.

3) learning how to play the piano.
i started learning it since primary 2 i think.
cannot remember...
anyway i was forced into it.
and i really wanted to quit, because i had no interest in music at all...
all until primary 6, after psle.
i changed piano teacher.. and thats when i started appreciating music.
some credit to nushs too.
i learnt that the piano is a very good tool to get rid of stress.
during the exams. i can spend the whole day playing it, and not studying at all.
in the end, doing very badly for my exams=X
but it didnt matter.
i hate having stress.
and the piano was a super awesome way to relieve it.

4) m08205!

since primary school until now.
i haven felt as bonded to any class until i came to nushs and landed in this class.
although my first impression of the class was bad, it has slowly changed throughout the 2 years that we were together.
i used to remember in year 1, during the first semester.
i didn't really like ben, hurberg, jk,linchuan, zf etc. those bunch of people.
and i also didn talk much to the others.
i spent most of my time with people from other class.
sem1 was rather horrid, didn really make any friends in 105 other than emman, poh, ryan, kat, cherylin.

then came sem 2.
i started to open up to the others.
like zf, jk etc.
i still didnt like them, as i felt that they were weird.
things got worse for me and i was made to sit beside sourav dey.
continued to mix with the same people, and m07105 wasnt really that much of a class for me.
although i started to get along with some others in 105 like christine, ethel , cherylit, gen.

one year passed, and another there was another new year.
year 2 started off rather great, with satya and sourav leaving. and melvin, nic kong and leon coming in.
made quite a few friends from juniors.(m08105)
and that was when i started talking to the remaining few of m08205.
started to do some projects with ben, zf, cmc, jk.
felt that they were actually a rather nice bunch of people to be with, but although they speak loads of rubbish, they could be funny at sometimes.

so during the june holidays, we had our 1st class chalet!
never forgot that though.
it was a rather good one, and i got to mix around more with the guys in my class.
and girls too.
apparently, i just happily started to talk to angela, charlene, mabelle, joelle, narmadha etc. the whole lot of them.

and finally sem 2. the last semester that we would finally be together.
it felt really fast for me.
and i really wish that none of us would be switching anymore, except for melvin and leon. xD
we had a final class chalet, thanks to tzy's mum again.
and i seriously think that this was the best one of all.
most of the people were around, except for a few who didn't managed to make it. all went well.

even until now, its is the 2nd semester of year 3.
im still missing m08205.
one of the best class ever!

yups. 3 days ago was my dad's birthday.
so we went to this thai brewery, (a place where they brew beer, and sell them) at dempsey hill.
the food was not bad, but sadly, there was no live bad that particular night.
apparently, there is something similar at bangkok, which we went the other time.

the food was great.
after that we proceeded to ben and jerrys, dempsey outlet.

and omg, ice cream.
as usual.
amazing... nothing to say ^^

although this was posted 3 days late. i would still like to wish my dad a happy 54th birthday! =))

lol i realise that i have been posting on weekends.

quite a eventful week.
